Families must work directly with their school to negotiate whether the school will accept a CTY course for school course credit or school placement into a higher-level course. CTY courses are either graded or ungraded and this detail is displayed on individual course descriptions.
CTY can provide families seeking academic credit or placement from their school with limited documentation at the end of their child’s course: a course completion document, which includes a course evaluation, and an official academic record. This documentation may be insufficient for some schools, so families are strongly encouraged to work with their school in advance of enrollment.
