Amy Shelton

Executive Director

Amy Shelton, Ph.D., was appointed CTY’s executive director in October 2022. She leads the center in advancing its vision and brings to the role a thorough understanding of CTY operations, student and family needs and expectations, and a commitment to research and evidence-based teaching and curriculum.

Elizabeth Albert

Senior Director, Academic Programs

As CTY’s senior director for academic programs and services, Elizabeth Albert oversees On-Campus Programs and the CTY Scholars Program.

Rob Arena

Senior Director, Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Robert Arena leads the development and delivery of CTY's Online Programs. He is an online education executive with experience in both course development and program marketing.

Chantress Baptist

Chantress Baptist

Director, Human Resources

Chantress Baptist joined CTY in August 2022 as its human resources director. She leads staffing efforts for On-Campus and Online programs, and provides staff with the guidance and support needed to deliver quality programs to students around the world. As a member of the senior leadership group, she is also working to build a dynamic HR team and to champion a welcoming and inclusive culture at CTY.

Brian Boles

Brian Boles

Senior Director, Development and Alumni Relations

Brian Boles joined CTY in June 2021 to lead the development and alumni relations team. He most recently served as senior associate director of development at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. Prior to that, he was director of major and corporate gifts at Catholic Charities of Baltimore.

Tricia Schellenbach

Tricia Schellenbach

Senior Director, Marketing, Recruitment and Enrollment Management

Tricia Schellenbach joined the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth in 2014 as senior director for communications and marketing. She works with the executive director and others across the center to tell compelling stories about CTY's efforts to serve families, educators, and advocates of bright, curious young people and to help students find academic programming that meets their specialized needs.
