Join CTY for an insightful online event featuring the latest in college admissions and including practical tips for becoming a competitive applicant to highly selective and “best fit” colleges. Our co-hosts have an extensive background in academic advising and college counseling and are fresh from the recent National Association for College Admission Counseling national conference, where they learned about topics including: complexity of test optional admissions, strategies for finding the best fit for college, and setting yourself apart in the application process.

Bridgette Yee McIntyre, CTY’s director of Integrated Programs, has spent her career working in higher education and college admissions. She holds a B.S. in broadcast journalism and an M.S. in cultural foundations of education from Syracuse University. She enjoys talking with families about all things college admissions.

Makaya Jackson, director of the CTY Scholars Program, has 14 years of experience as an academic advisor and college counselor. She holds a B.A. in economics and an M.A. in public administration from Rutgers University. She is passionate about helping high-achieving, first-generation, and limited-income students achieve academic success.
