Registration is now open for CTY’s fall 2025 online courses!

This fall, encourage your child to dig deep and go beyond subjects typically offered in schools with CTY’s rigorous, fresh, and fun online courses. Starting in September 2025, CTY is introducing a synchronous component to many of our rigorous online courses to emphasize peer community. You will see some new courses, as well as some familiar titles, such as Creative Nonfiction, CTY Reading Challenge, Data and Chance, and many more!

We are also introducing new course types designed to showcase the CTY Experience. Learn more about the new course types debuting in fall 2025:

• Advanced Enrichment: These courses offer above-grade-level material that is presented in a novel context, explored with other advanced learners, and guided by a CTY educator to help prepare students for higher-order thinking and college-style academic challenges.
• Extreme Acceleration: These courses offer topics condensed into a highly concentrated and accelerated learning experience. Extreme Acceleration courses are best suited for advanced learners craving a truly intensive challenge.
• Mini: Taught over 1-3 sessions, these short survey courses are designed to give students the opportunity to sample a topic, engage with a community of advanced learners, and take a course that suits their busy schedule.
• Skillshop Challenge: Skillshop Challenge courses build community among learners with shared interests by providing a space for exploration and skill development. These courses culminate in an accomplishment such as a capstone project or in the completion of a competitive goal.
