About the Course
Bring the best writing you created in your CTY writing course to this advanced workshop and, as part of a writing community, continue to develop your work for publication. Through intensive workshops, you and your classmates will hone your skills while sharing detailed constructive feedback with each other. With input from your instructor and peers, you will further revise your writing. Applying your new editing and digital accessibility knowledge, you will polish and prepare your work for publication in a digital zine. Finally, you'll design your own pages in the zine, collaborate with peers on overall style, vote on the zine name, and select cover art. Students who complete this course will be able to view and download their published zine, share it with their friends and family, and add it to their portfolio. This course prepares students for the editorial work of creating CTY's literary journal, Lexophilia.
