About the Course
In this Skillshop Challenge, you’ll strengthen your foundation in competitive mathematics while exploring new problem-solving strategies in a supportive and collaborative setting. Designed for students with basic competitive knowledge, this course emphasizes peer-to-peer learning, tackling engaging problems, and building the confidence needed to participate in math competitions.
Each week, you’ll practice applying strategies to competition-style problems, work with classmates to explore multiple solution paths, and develop techniques for managing time and pressure during contests. Along the way, you’ll build fluency in core topics such as arithmetic, number patterns, geometry, and logical reasoning.
The course culminates in a friendly internal competition, giving you the chance to showcase your growth, test your skills, and celebrate your accomplishments with fellow problem solvers.
