In Young Historians: Exploring Africa, you’ll discover how geography and climate played a role in the development of emerging societies. You and your classmates will follow migrations and trade routes to vital civilizations, trading empires, and medieval cities. Through critical reading, writing, argumentation, evidence usage, and historical reasoning, you’ll apply a historian’s reasoning skills to the cultural, scientific, and artistic achievements of African civilizations and trace their influence throughout the modern world.
