Tuition
Tuition varies by course and length. Specific tuition costs are provided in each course description in our catalog.
Enrolling early is risk-free. Withdraw at least 90 days before your course start date and receive a full tuition refund.
Full-time Johns Hopkins University staff can use their tuition remission benefit to receive 50% off any course for which their child is eligible.
CTY is an education provider, not a traditional summer camp. Families seeking reimbursement from flexible spending accounts must work with their benefits provider to determine whether CTY programs qualify.
Payment Plans
Families can pay for CTY courses in monthly installments, allowing them to spread out tuition costs while securing their spot early in a course.
There is a fee associated with using a payment plan.

Financial Aid
CTY offers limited need-based financial aid to families who qualify.
Families may apply for financial aid at any time throughout the year through MyCTY. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis; there are no deadlines. Families can apply aid toward one in-person and one online course per year, if funds are available. Applying for financial aid is a separate process from enrolling in a course, and financial aid eligibility is not contingent upon course registration. This enables families to make informed decisions about their course registration. Financial aid offers are valid for 14 days, and unused aid is reallocated to other families in need. If an award expires, families will need to reapply. If funds are not available at the time of review, the student will be placed on a waitlist and notified if additional funding becomes available.
