CTY’s Robotics and Technology courses give students the knowledge and skills to design space-ready robots, create art with Python, implement algorithms through programming, and more. You’ll build confidence while coding, building, and problem solving with classmates who love technology as much as you do, with an expert instructor to guide you every step of the way.

Get Creative with Coding

Explore the intersection of art, math, and technology in Creative Coding: Drawing with Python. You’ll learn to use the Python Turtle graphics library to create colorful digital patterns, animations, and interactive designs. Tap into your creativity and build technical skills in this engaging, collaborative course! Data Structures and Algorithms is for students who have some proficiency at programming and are looking to take their abilities to the next level. By diving deep into how computers organize and store data, you will learn to design and utilize algorithms with peak efficiency.

The students are so bright, interesting, and often willing to try some of the most silly and unique activities that the RAs create.

CTY is one of the highlights of my year. Even though it’s the summer, the immersive learning in a subject where these students truly excel and shine is invigorating for me as a teacher.

I love that students are not here for the grade; they're here to learn. At the end of the course, I get to write about each students' progress and capture the essence of each student's performance, which I love.
