CTY Talent Search students in grades 2-8 and students in grades 9 and above may take the computerized School and College Ability Test (SCAT) by appointment at a Prometric testing center. Prometric offers the test at their test centers worldwide several times a month. Please submit a Talent Search application to receive an eligibility number for Prometric test registration.
To provide additional testing options for CTY students in Hong Kong and China, CTY will offer a second round of paper-based SCAT testing sessions in January. Students who have already tested in the fall should wait for the results before registering for another test. Please click on the appropriate links below to access test information for each location:
The testing fee is US $177 (US $57 for 2019 Talent Search application fee and US $120 for SCAT).
To apply for this CTY-Administered SCAT testing, follow the instructions below carefully and submit the application before the registration deadline. Please note that there are three possible ways to apply, depending on whether you have ever registered with CTY before. Follow the appropriate link to register for the test:

*Important: Please note that you must put down the appropriate Testing Code under "CTY-Administered Testing" to register for the test. It is important that you use the correct Testing Code for the location and time you are selecting, otherwise your registration will not be processed correctly.
