The Nueva School’s campus in San Mateo features a custom-built, energy-efficient facility with design engineering laboratories, fine arts studios, an attached athletic center, and a two-level writing and research center. Outdoor spaces include contemplative study areas, inviting activity courts, and rooftop organic gardens.

Classes meet between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and before- and after-program care is available at an additional cost. Students should expect to do between 30 and 60 minutes of homework each weeknight.

Transportation and Contact Information

The San Mateo campus is at the northeast corner of the Bay Meadows development, adjacent to a 12-acre public park. It is accessible by car from Highways 101 and 92, as well as El Camino Real, and is walking distance to Hillsdale Caltrain station and local SamTrans and AC Transit bus services.
