About the Course

Calculus C (NCAA Approved)

  • Grade 6+
  • CTY-Level
  • Session-Based

Learn the second half of the material on the AP Calculus BC exam by actively engaging with your instructor, the textbook, a graphing calculator, and other online course materials. You’ll cover topics in single-variable differential and integral calculus typically found in a first-year university course. And you’ll learn how to solve both applied and abstract problems involving limits, derivatives, and integrals by hand as well as by using technology.

Participation in class forums and synchronous virtual meetings will help you succeed, and your assigned instructor will be available for learning support and one-on-one review sessions for graded assessments, which include homework assignments, free-response questions, chapter tests, and cumulative exams based on the actual AP Calculus exams.

Meeting times: After the course begins, class meeting times will be set to match students' availability.

Time Commitment: 6-9 hours per week (1 hour class time, 1 hour optional meeting, 5-7 hours independent work).
