CTY Family Academic Programs are open to all students and their families. There are no minimum qualifying scores required. Siblings and friends will be admitted only if they have been registered for the event and, in general, only if their age is within the program grade limit. Note: At least one parent or guardian must register and attend with the students.
For registration information, visit our registration page. Unfortunately, we cannot accept registrations over the phone. All registration forms must be accompanied by payment (check, money order, Mastercard, or Visa). Please submit your registration only once to avoid duplicate charges.
No, we do not accept walk-in registrations at the program site.
Based on availability, you may add an additional participant to your registration in advance of a program. Please contact the Family Programs registration office at 410-735-6115 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please be aware that different cancellation policies may apply for different series. To withdraw from a program, you must notify the CTY Family Programs in writing to email@example.com. For cancellations made 30 days or more prior to the event, registrants will be charged a processing fee of $25 per family for one-day events; $50 per family for overnight programs; and $250 per family for extended programs/family education series. From 29 to 15 days prior, registrants will be charged one-half of the total amount paid. There will be no refund or credit for any cancellations received less than 15 days prior to the event. For Family Education Series programs, there will be no refunds or credits for missed classes for any reason. Refunds are issued in the same method of payment (check or charge) used for initial payment. Processing time for refunds is approximately five days for electronic payments. Please note, separate cancellation policies apply for our Educational Travel Programs. Notification of cancellation may be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org. If CTY cancels a program, 100% of fees paid will be refunded to families.
Limited financial aid for our one-day and overnight programs is available to families who qualify. The financial assistance provided will not exceed the tuition for two parents or guardians and the student participant. Assistance is usually limited to one program per family per year. Financial assistance is not available for our Educational Travel Programs or any of our other extended/family education series. Lunch arrangements may vary from program to program; please check your registration materials for more specific information. When lunch is offered, a variety of lunch choices, including a vegetarian option, will be provided. Participants who have special dietary requirements (e.g., allergies, religious restrictions) should pack picnic lunches on the day of the program. In some cases, families may be able to purchase lunch on or off campus. We cannot guarantee that late registrants will have a reserved lunch. Please refer to your registration materials for detailed information.
