Individuals and families come to the Diagnostic and Counseling Center with a wide variety of questions and concerns about a student's learning, development, social-emotional well-being, and educational needs. While we work with students who have a variety of characteristics, we have special expertise in working with academically advanced students and twice-exceptional learners.
The founders of the Diagnostic and Counseling Center, Dr. Linda Brody and Dr. Carol Mills, authored a seminal review article on advanced students with learning disabilities. Our staff have years of experience assessing and counseling bright students, including those with learning challenges.
