Mexico is a land of great economic, cultural, and geographic contrasts. At CTY’s programs in Mexico, students experience and understand these contrasts. Hosted by two of Mexico’s leading universities, CTY students delve into Mexico’s rich history, examine its pivotal role in Latin American economics and politics, and study mathematics and science at institutions where top scientists and business leaders are shaping the future. These two, three-week residential summer programs (Sunday July 6 – Friday July 25, 2008) are for academically talented students completing grades 7-10 in Puebla and grades 9-12 in Monterrey. These programs bring together gifted adolescents from the United States and Mexico, offering students unique cultural and social opportunities in addition to challenging academic experiences. Site Locations There are two CTY site locations in Mexico. The first, which offers courses to students completing grades 7-10, is located in Puebla. The second, which offers courses for students completing grades 9-12, is located in Monterrey. How to Use this Catalog Please read carefully through each section of the catalog.
