All research projects and findings are recorded and published through either an in-house document or a research/education journal. CTY is committed to making its findings available to parents, educators, researchers, and the wider community. We believe through our dissemination efforts that we can make a positive contribution to the education and well-being of all children, not only those with exceptional abilities. This document presents in concise statements some of the major findings from CTY’s vast array of research projects over the past 25 years. Each booklet in this series presents an integrative summary of a topic that we know is of particular interest to parents, educators, and our wider audience. Topics addressed include: Acceleration, Personality and Cognitive Learning Styles of Academically Talented Students, Perfectionism, and Parents’ Values and Children’s Perceived Pressure. New topics are added to this series in response to interest level and research activities.
