G/T Research SummitGifted Summit held at CTY
By Maria Blackburn

CTY is co-sponsoring a research summit on gifted education on April 26 and 27th at the Mt. Washington Conference Center in Baltimore. This gathering will bring some of the country’s prominent researchers in gifted education together to explore the present and future opportunities for research in the field.

CTY’s partners in hosting this conference are our colleagues from Duke’s Talent Identification Program (TIP), Northwestern’s Center for Talent Development (CTD), and the Center for Bright Kids in Colorado.

The summit, which draws researchers from some two dozen organizations and universities, provides CTY with an opportunity to collaborate as we consider the very big question of where we’d like to see the field of research on gifted education go in the next ten years and how we can work together to reach our goals.
