The Diagnostic and Counseling Center provides individualized assessments and consultations for students in pre-kindergarten through college. Our goal is to help families and educators develop education plans for students on the basis of their demonstrated abilities, knowledge, and interests.

The services of the Diagnostic and Counseling Center can be helpful when:

• a child is not being challenged in school
• parents are considering acceleration or early school entrance for their child
• bright child is underachieving or exhibits uneven academic performance
• a child may have a learning disability or attention problem
• a student wants to explore career interests and academic goals
• a school wants to know how to better serve gifted students

While we serve students with a variety of characteristics and needs, we have particular expertise in working with gifted students and gifted/LD students.
