Pizza Party is an optional activity for students who want to interact online with other CTYOnline students beyond their coursework. It is an online discussion forum where students can talk about books, movies, music, philosophy—whatever.
Students are assigned to an appropriate Pizza Party according to their grade in school. There are currently separate Pizza Parties for Grades 2 & 3; Grades 4-6; Grades 7 & 8; and Grades 9-12. A student's participation will continue until after his or her CTYOnline course is complete. Gentle monitoring is provided by CTYOnline staff and assistants to enforce reasonable rules of good taste and appropriate behavior. Examples of typical Pizza Party threads:
