Keith Berman

Keith Berman is a Certified Education Planner (CEP) by the American Institute of Certified Educational Planners. He is a Roy E. Larsen Award recipient from the Harvard Graduate School of Education, and has worked as an Interviewer at the Harvard College Admissions Office and a Senior Interviewer at Yale University. He has also been a teacher in the New York City public school system and a researcher at a Washington, DC education think tank. He is the author of Maximum Access, a manual for guidance counselors on the organization, outreach, and application aspects of college counseling. He has also trained guidance counseling staff at institutions as diverse as the Rochester City School District and Princeton Review—India and served as the Interim Director of College Guidance at the Rudolf Steiner School and the Yeshiva University High School for Boys. He founded Options for College, Inc. in 2005. Mr. Berman earned his B.A. as a double major at Yale University, his M.Ed. from Harvard Graduate School of Education, and his M.S.Ed. at Bank Street College.

As a former CTY student and Summer Programs' staff member, Mr. Berman has a special connection to the unique needs of gifted and talented students, which he is eager to share in his CTY College Prep online course offered by Family Academic Programs.
