Gifted and Talented Online Course Calendar

Individually Paced Courses

Math courses (including AP Calculus and AP Statistics), chess, computer science and technology below the AP level (except for Intro to Computer Science and Engineering), and science courses below the AP level (except for Inventions in Engineering and Intro to Forensics) are offered in an individually paced format and have rolling enrollment. Students may apply at any time but please allow two weeks for applications to be processed. See the FAQs for more information about how these courses work.

Session-Based Courses: 2017 Application Deadlines and Session Dates

AP, forensics, engineering, English language development, grammar, critical reading, NCAA-approved math, NCAA-approved science, visual fluency, world languages, and writing courses are offered in a session-based format and have specific start and end dates, shown below. See the FAQs for more information on how these courses work. Check back later for additional dates in the 2017-2018 academic year.

†AP Computer Science A is not offered during the 12-week intensive spring session. AP Spanish Literature and Culture is not offered during the 12-week intensive spring or summer sessions.

‡**Grammar Fundamentals is not offered for the 5-week intensive midsummer session.

Flexi-Paced Courses

Students begin on a set start date (January 23, March 30, June 5, July 28, September 25 and November 27, 2017) and work with their instructors to develop a flexible schedule to complete the course within the following nine months. The Process of Writing, Writing for an Audience, Crafting the Essay, and Writing Analysis and Persuasion are offered as flexi-paced courses. The application deadline is two weeks prior to the set start date. Check back later for dates and deadlines for spring and summer sessions in 2018.
