Notes

1

CTY's Registrar emails application confirmation and instructor contact information. Please put ctyreg@jhu.edu and your instructor's email address on your safe/trusted email list.

If you have not received these messages by the start date, check your spam or bulk mail folder. If you don't see messages there, phone (410)735-6108 or e-mail ctyreg@jhu.edu immediately.

2

You can both complete a spring CTYOnline course and attend session 1 of CTY Summer Programs, BUT, to do so, you must notify your instructor at the beginning of your course.

3

The mid summer intensive session for writing/language arts courses is a compacted version of the fall and spring courses.

Students in web-based formats have about 2 hours of work each weekday. In e-mail formats, 1.5 hours each weekday.

This time commitment is not feasible while a student is also in a CTY summer program or on a vacation.

Session-based courses cannot be postponed or suspended. Students enrolled in CTY summer programs or planning a vacation must schedule their CTYOnline writing/language arts course for a different, non-overlapping session.

4

The mid summer intensive session starts three days after CTY Summer Programs Session 1 ends.

5

End-of-session materials -- final evaluation, certificate of participation, information about credit and placement, and a CTYOnline course application -- are usually mailed 4 to 6 weeks after the session's end.
