Sandra Isom received her Bachelors degree in Biology from Denison University and her Masters of Arts in Teaching degree from the Johns Hopkins University.  She began teaching at CTY in 2006.  Sandy teaches the middle school science series and loves to see her students grow over time.  She especially enjoys seeing students link concepts to real life in the various science projects that her students undertake as part of the courses.  Now a resident of Durham, NC, Sandy spends her free time on photography, cooking, and exploring new places with her family.
