Executive Director

drleaybarraDear students, parents, educators, and friends of CTY:

Everything we do here at CTY focuses on helping advanced young learners reach their full academic promise. Our country must ensure academic success in extremely bright young minds—no matter where they live or what their families earn. Investing in our young talent helps the United States maintain    its technological eminence, and it nurtures the best ideals of democracy. For all the other things that these bright children   are to each of us, together they represent a very precious national resource: brainpower. We must not take them or their gifts for granted.

Of course, our work on behalf of talented young minds is made possible only through the generous and continued participation of the many foundations, corporations, parents, schools, and friends who share our vision and support our work. Thank you. Together, we are putting our belief into practice: that CTY’s programs help children of great promise to explore fully their intellectual gifts and set them on paths toward future success and high achievement.

Sincerely,

Lea Ybarra, Ph.D.
Executive Director
